IL GLICINE Campo de' Fiori, holiday home for periods of 3 nights up to 1 month, can accommodate from 2 to 5 persons. The apartment which is only 150 metres (3 minutes on foot) from Piazza Campo dei Fiori, is situated in Via San Salvatore in Campo, a small and characteristic Renaissance back street in the heart of historic Rome.

Campo de’ Fiori is one of the most famous squares of the city, known for its traditional daily market and shops, characteristic boutiques, pizzerias and restaurants offering traditional Roman cuisine. Five minutes away on foot is Piazza Farnese with its 16th century palace, Via Giulia with its elegant aristocratic residences and antique shops, the famous Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Campidoglio. The Trevi Fountain, Saint Peter’s, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum are also within walking distance. This is the heart of the capital, a safe, tranquil, elegant and historic area.

IL GLICINE Campo de' Fiori is situated on the third floor (no lift) of a 15^th Century building, decorated with frescos which are still visible on the façade. In fact, this building is mentioned as an example of art and history in the “Guide to the districts of Rome”, which illustrates the cultural value of the accommodation we offer.

	From the luminous living room there is a unusual wonderful view on the roof-top terraces with pots of lemon trees and beyond to the dome of the Church of S. Carlo ai Catinari (see photo on left hand).

The apartment of 50 sq.m. has two rooms and has recently been restored. Access to the apartment is by a characteristic internal staircase. The living room with kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom all lead off the entrance hall.

The spacious living room (see photo on right) is furnished with a dining area for 4 people, with a fully furnished kitchenette (microwave oven included), with an antique cupboard, and a sitting area with TV set and a comfortable double sofa-bed. Two big windows make this a bright and cheerful room. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washing machine for the use of guests. The bathroom with shower is well furnished, the sink is built in a marble surface and there is a dressing table for your make-up. The terracotta floors give the apartment a Mediterranean atmosphere.

	The luminous and comfortable double bedroom with its queen size bed and spacious wardrobe, is tastefully and discretely decorated.
	The apartment has independent heating and it is fully air conditioned for the summer period; anyway, the characteristically thick walls of the old buildings of Rome prevent excessive heat in summer or cold in winter. Bed linen and bath towels are of course provided.

How to reach us
BY PLANE: From Rome Leonardo Da Vinci (Fiumicino) airport you can take a taxi to the apartment (approx. € 50). The trip from the airport to the apartment takes about 40 minutes. Alternatively, there is the city train from the airport to Trastevere Station and from there you can either take a taxi to the apartment, or Tram No. 8 to Piazza Cairoli (the next stop after the bridge over the River Tiber) which is about 100 metres from the apartment (follow instructions and the map below). From Rome Ciampino airport, take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. From here you can take the bus number 64 in the direction of St. Peter’s Church, stopping at Largo Argentina, and then walk on Via Arenula towards Piazza Cairoli. Once reached the Piazza, with the help of the attached map, take Via degli Specchi and the first left-hand turning is Via San Salvatore in Campo. The trip by bus + taxi or tram takes about 1 hour and 1/2.

If, however, you take a taxi we advise you to suggest the following route to the taxi driver: Corso Vittorio, Via Monti della Farina, Piazza Cairoli, Via S.Maria Monticelli, Via San Salvatore in Campo. The trip by train + taxi or tram takes about 1 hour. IL GLICINE can arrange a reliable taxi to and from the airport for its guests (€ 47 per trip): ask for this service by e-mail.
BY TRAIN: From Rome Trastevere station you can take a taxi to the apartment or Tram No. 8 to Piazza Cairoli which is situated 100 metres from the apartment. From this point follow the route suggested above (see section "By Plane"). The Train + Taxi or Tram takes about 1 hour. From Rome Termini station you can also take a taxi to the apartment or the bus No. 64 to Largo Argentina. From there it will take ten minutes on foot: once in Via Arenula you will go to Piazza Cairoli. From there follow the directions given above (see section "By Plane").

Price List

Prices are in Euro, apply to ONE NIGHT and include taxes.
A minimum stay between 2 and 6 nights is required (depending on the periods). An advance of 20% of the total amount should be paid (by Credit Card or other money transfer's methods) at the reservation time.
The balance will be paid at the arrival.
