	B&B Hotel de Charme "Villa Maria" is located in the heart of the Vomero district of Naples. The elegant art-nouveau villa dates back to the turn of the 20th century. The entrance to Villa Maria is via a romantic garden of ficus and brightly-coloured flowers. Hotel Villa Maria offers various tastefully furnished rooms and suites on a bed & breakfast basis. Guests may dine in an elegant dining room and relax in a large lounge with a cozy fireplace, combining the warmth of a family welcome with the freedom and comfort of hotel accommodation.

The district

The Vomero district of Naples is a densely populated, yet elegant residential area dating back to the end of the 19th century. Its magnificent position led 14th century King Robert I the Wise to chose it as the ideal place for his summer residence. His palatium- which has since become Castel S. Elmo - is still used for exhibitions and events.
On a rocky spur just a short distance away, stands Certosa di S. Martino, a huge monastery built in the 14th century but restructured in the 16th and 17th centuries to become one of the best examples of Baroque architecture in Naples.
On the outskirts of the Vomero is Villa Floridiana, a splendid villa built in 1819 for the wife of King Ferdinand I. The villa is surrounded by a huge park with temples, panoramic terraces and the Duca di Martina National Ceramics Museum.

The double rooms are situated in the ground floor with independent entrance and are furnished with double bed. An extra bed may be added on request. The split-level suites are located on the first floor and may accommodate up to four people in the utmost comfort and elegance.
All the rooms have an en suite bathroom with shower, an eco-friendly air conditioning system, mini-bar, TV, telephone and safe, burglar alarm and internet point.

Where we are

The B&B is well-connected to the rest of the city: the three funicular stations which serve the Vomero district of Naples are all within 300 meters of the Villa, while the underground is just 200 meters away and the C28 bus stops extremely nearby.

How to get there

BY CAR :

From the north of Italy use the A1 motorway, from the South use the A3 and from Bari use the A16. Take the Tangenziale as far as the Arenella exit. Once you reach Piazza degli Artisti, take Via Luca Giordano and then the first left. Cross the next junction and continue straight on, following the road left into Via E. Alvino. Villa Maria is located 20 metres on the left at number 157.

BY TRAIN:

From "Napoli Porta Garibaldi" railway station, take underground Linea 2 towards Pozzuoli and alight at "Cavour" station (1 stop). Change lines to Linea 1 towards Rione Alto. Alight at "Vanvitelli" station (4 stops). From Piazza Vanvitelli take Via Scarlatti. Via E. Alvino lies after 100 metres on the right. "Villa Maria" is at the end of the road on the left at number 157. The journey from the station takes approximately 45 minutes.

From Napoli Mergellina railway station take underground Linea 2 towards San Giovanni up to "Cavour" station (3 stops). Change lines to Linea 1 towards Rione Alto. Alight at "Vanvitelli" station (4 stops). From Piazza Vanvitelli take Via Scarlatti. Via E. Alvino lies after 100 metres on the right. "Villa Maria" is at the end of the road on the left at number 157. The journey from the station takes approximately 45 minutes.

Price List

Prices are in Euro, apply to ONE NIGHT and include taxes. A minimum stay of two nights is required. An advance of 20% of the total amount should be paid at the reservation time. The balance will be paid at the arriving. Please read the letting Terms and Conditions prior to confirming your reservation.

A 30% additional price will be charged on the high season price for Easter week and Christmas - New Year's eve periods
